- American Cemetary Romagne: With 14 246 crosses, the memorial of Romagne-sous-Montfaucon is the biggest American cemetery in Europe
- Butte de Vauquois: The high point of the “Guerre des mines” in the Argonne. The best example of underground planning, with rooms on several levels.
